When it comes to conserving water, we have a few tips that any homeowner can do to help save water and protect our Earth.

• Instead of using a hose to clean up debris, get a broom specifically for the outdoors. Use this for leaves, dirt, and other debris instead of wasting water.
• Always use the automatic shut-off nozzle on your hose! If you don’t have one, get one ASAP.
• When washing your car, use a bucket of water and soap instead of your hose. 
• Invest in a proper irrigation system.

This last tip is so crucial that we will expand on it. Our automated sprinkler system will run at ideal times; generally, this is around 6 am when temperatures are cool, and there is minimal evaporation. This allows your grass to better absorb the little water used.
